The Austfil range of flux cored wires reduces production costs through higher deposition rates with excellent high integrity deposits.  Superb weld profiles with low spatter and fume levels result in good operator appeal.

Applications

All positional rutile micro-alloyed type flux cored wire formulated for Argon/CO2 shielding gas mixtures (18-25% CO2). For optimum performance, we recommend Argon with 25% CO². Exceptionally smooth arc performance producing a superb weld with low spatter losses in all positions with excellent operator appeal. It is recommended for the welding of mild, carbon and carbon-manganese medium steels where good impact properties at -20°C are required. Typical applications include steel fabrication such as plate sections, beams, girders, truck chassis/bodies, ship building, earth moving equipment, storage tanks etc.
