Maximum Comfort
Lightweight and ergonomic design delivers maximum comfort when welding for long periods of time. A lightweight shell, fully adjustable headgear and a back harness all maximise user comfort. It provides all day comfort and minimises operator fatigue.
Dual air speeds allow users to adjust the volume of air to maximize comfort in varied work conditions.
Audible and vibrating alarms notify users in noisy environments.
Lightweight lithium ion battery provides long battery life (8 hr) with no memory retention from frequent charging (3-hr charge cycle).
Choice of Helmet Shell Graphics
The Vortex is the only heavy duty welding respirator with a choice of shell graphics - ultimate protection is now combined with built-in attitude.
Tool Bag securely holds Vortex PAPR and welding accessories.
Hose cover protects hose from sparks and abrasion for extended life.
Helmet features Miller’s Digital Elite™ Series auto-darkening lens technology,providing the control to adjust shade, sensitivity and delay settings with absolute precision for any welding job. Offers the flexibility to weld, cut and grind, all with one helmet.
*Vortex is not suitable for welding environments containing dangerous levels of poisonous gases not suitably filtered by a P2(SL) particle filter, or containing gaseous particles or oxygen deficiency. The purchaser is responsible for testing the welding environment prior to purchase and for selecting appropriate respiratory protective equipment. WIA will not accept responsibility for any equipment purchased for unsuitable welding environments.
